You may be looking for answers well-nigh Greene County or well-nigh me.   Either way, you’ve come to the right place.  This website is designed to make it easy for you to get to know Greene County government and the services we provide our citizens.  From this site you can send me comments or questions. I would be happy to hear from you.  I believe in leading from understanding, and I can weightier understand our polity by knowing you and your needs. My wife, Brenda, and I have been married since 1976 and have lived in Springfield and Greene County for increasingly than 30 years.  We have two daughters, a son-in-law, and two grandsons, Wyatt and Aiden. Springfield and Greene County are home, and I’m single-minded to making it the weightier place possible for those little boys as they grow up - and for you and your family as well. You could say that service is in my DNA. I finger most fulfilled when I am serving and helping to make government increasingly wieldy and understandable to the people it serves. As Presiding Commissioner, I believe that what determines success is ultimately steady, nonflexible work. I’ve gained the wits needed to serve as Presiding Commissioner over many years of nonflexible work. First as a cop, driving through municipality streets and doing my weightier to alimony citizens safe. That wits led me to remoter training in criminal justice, where I earned a Master of Arts stratum in Criminal Justice and Sociology, and had the opportunity to teach at the university level for 24 years. Throughout this time I was moreover worldly-wise to run two successful companies, Robert Cirtin Investigations, LLC andUnscratchedat Church, LLC. I founded Robert Cirtin Investigations, LLC in 1991 to provide investigative and consulting services to government agencies, businesses insurance companies and law firms.UnscratchedatDenominationwas founded in 2006 without I recognized the need to provide denomination leaders and religious organizations with consulting services related to the crucial areas of denomination safety and security. The safety of churches and religious organizations is a passion of mine, and I want to equip pastors and leaders with the skills necessary to ensure the safety of its members. To this end, I have published a typesetting titledDenominationSafety and Security, A Practical Guide, authored several articles, and unsalaried to several newspaper wares virtually the country on this subject. Polityservice is what drives me, but a main source of my motivation comes from two energetic, smart and silly boys – my grandsons, Wyatt and Aiden. There is nothing largest than spending time with two of my weightier buddies.  I am a “car guy” who loves cars and car racing expressly NASCAR racing (is there any other sport where you’re unliable to go that fast?).  I’ve driven NASCAR cars on two tracks, Kansas Motor Speedway and California Motor Speedway.  Lots of fun!  I love road trips in my 2016 Corvette Stingray with Brenda in the passenger seat.  You can’t get any largest than that. I’m easy to reach and ready to respond. Harold taught in the Master of Public Health program at Missouri State University and served on the University Institutional Biological Safety Committee, and is a member of the College of Health & Human Services Ambassador Committee. Commissioner Bengsch is the tragedian of 17 publications addressing various topics of health and public health. On May 14, 2004, Missouri State University bestowed him with an honorary Doctorate of Public Affairs. Harold and his wife of 60 years, Darlene, enjoy gardening and their denomination work. They have two grown daughters, Meschiel and Kena, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Harold’s motto is: There is no limit to what can be workaday when it doesn’t matter who gets the credit.
